Sony Ericsson Xperia X8

Sony ericsson- A brand that unleashes models which give atleast something to every one in the market. One model of this kind is the Xperia X8 which is a direct competition to iPhone as well as Symbian^3 phones as it runs on Android.


It is available in market since september 2010. With 99x54x15m size it weighs only 104gm which is some what heavy but can be carried easily. Nokia 2690

Micromax has lately been a brand for the dual sim mobiles which are rather gaining more importance in Indian market as they reduce the need of carrying 2 phones instead of which they can carry only one. Nokia 5800

Nokia brought a revolution in the field of touch screen mobiles with its Nokia 5800 which it launched in November, 2008. Though it was not successful in the beginning later it had an enormous success with all its features.


With its small dimensions 111x51.7x15.5 mm and a weight of just 109gm it is very light and sleek phone. It has a 3.2" 360x640 pixel TFT resistive touch screen which supports 16M colors. This phone is also featured with sensors like accelarometer and proximity sensors.

The Nokia C7

One of the world's best smartphone makers-Nokia has launched mobile phones that operate on Symbian 3 starting with the nokia N8. This is a phone that has enriched all features a smart phone is supposed tio have. But the only point it lacks is the price which is way too high. So in order to satisfy those people who feel this way Nokia has released another model C7 in the same line of N8 which can also be called as its successor as it has most of the features that are in N8 but at a feasible price.


It uses the same 360x640pixel AMOLED 3.5" touch screen with a gorilla glass display which prevents any scratches on the screen surface. It also has an 8MP dual LED flash auto focus camera with a provision of HD recording at 25fps.


It runs a ARM11 680MHz processor same as in N8, But with just an 8GB internal memory which can be extended upto 32GB using external storage.


Finally the new C7 can be taken as a substitute for N8 in terms of the affordability issue.

The All New Nokia C6-01

OF late after Nokia started using the all new upgraded Symbian 3 software in its phones created a sensation in the market. Belonging to this category is the new Nokia C6-01 with a stainless steel body and a full touch screen hit the markets in the end of 2010.

Though it lacks the slider keyboard it doesnt matter as it has the capacitive touch screen.  It also supports social networking with its 3 customizable screens.  the new C6-01 also has a enclosed GPS receiver that supports ovi maps and also it has a web TV facility which gives a nice experience of watchint online tv.


The connectivity options include the Quad band GSM and penta band 3G networks also it has bluetooth 3.0 support, micro USB , TV out, and none the less wi-fi enabled. It is also a powerful office phone which supports excel, ppt, pdf formats. Its 1050mAh capacity battery gives a sound talk time and also it can be charged through the usb connector.
